2. Scope of this privacy policy
We process personal data to provide and improve Ever.Photos, to communicate with you, to analyze usage, and to comply with legal obligations.

Data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 (b) GDPR (performance of a contract), Art. 6 para. 1 (a) GDPR (consent), and Art. 6 para. 1 (f) GDPR (legitimate interests in providing a secure and efficient service).

9. Use of Google Firebase
Our application uses services of the Google Firebase platform, operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Firebase is a development platform that provides various functions for delivering and optimizing web and mobile applications (e.g., hosting, databases, authentication, cloud functions, analytics, push notifications). Firebase may process personal data such as IP addresses, device information, app usage behavior, error messages, or login information (e.g., email address during registration). Processing is carried out solely to provide and secure our app, for error analysis, performance optimization, and - if enabled - to use analytics features that improve the user experience.
The services used by Ever.Photos run in the EU. Data processed by Firebase may, in some cases, be stored on servers in the USA. Google commits to EU standard contractual clauses (SCC) under Art. 46 GDPR to ensure an adequate level of protection. Legal basis:
The use of Firebase is based on Art. 6 para. 1 (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, efficient, and technically sound
provision of our online offering). Where individual functions require consent (e.g., Firebase Analytics), processing
is carried out solely on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 (a) GDPR.
